To me, wealth is about how much freedom you have every day.

Hi👋🏻 I'm Christine.

Full-time freelancer and creator of paidcopywriter.com

I used to think making a living as a writer was a pipe dream.

I thought writing careers were reserved for married women who leisurely sat around writing their novels or well-connected Ivy League journalists.

How could I possibly break into writing after working in a totally unrelated field for over 6 years?

Meanwhile, I worked a well-paid but unfulfilling job in technology sales. Being one of the few females in a male-dominated field led to uncomfortable situations, leaving me feeling powerless.

I felt burned out, miserable, and trapped.

I wanted to love what I did for a living. I envied the "influencers" making money online. They seemed so free.

But I was worried that switching careers would leave me broke.

Then I discovered freelance copywriting, a career that didn't require an office, a boss, or uncomfortable interactions.

Listening to other copywriters' stories, I realized that it was possible for me too if I could just get my foot in the door.

While I did not have experience as a writer, I knew the basics of sales and how to manage clients.

I landed five high-paying clients using the tips I share with you and never went back to a 9-5 job.

I wish I'd had this roadmap when I first started out. I could have saved myself hundreds of hours on Google, feeling intimidated by established copywriters.

And no, I'm not a digital nomad working on my laptop at a beach while backpacking through Thailand. But I do work from home, with my dog at my feet, on my schedule, and without a boss.

Freelance copywriting has enabled me to do something I've always wanted to do: live life on my terms. To me, wealth is about how much freedom you have every day.

My goal is to show you how easy it really is to break into this field. I want to dispel myths about it being difficult, unstable, or requiring prior experience.

I wouldn't be where I am today making a full-time living as a freelance copywriter if I had listened to the snooty copywriters on the internet who made it sound so hard and exclusive.

My course won't claim to make you a six-figure copywriter with a Lamborgini who casually travels the world.

The truth is, freelancing is just like any other profession that requires hard work, dedication, and persistence. What you choose to do with your freedom is up to you.

There is no silver bullet, just taking action and listening to the right advice.

You're more than capable. You got this!
