A swipe file is just like a Pinterest board you can easily save your ideas to and come back to you later next time you see copy that got you to stop scrolling or click take note of it and try to emulate their technique.
Creating swipe files allows you to see what works and model it to create your writing samples.
This is how I learned copywriting. The copywriting books and formulas came much later.
